Pink Bourbon Espresso Bar

The black Pink Bourbon espresso bar kiosk with its red espresso machine, stacks of coffee bags, menu board and a bookshelf beside it

The founders of Pink Bourbon grew up inside Greek coffee culture, lived in Brighton and traveled often to cities like New York, then arrived in Madrid with a plan to rescue the traditional newspaper kiosk. After meeting a third generation kiosk owner in Salamanca, they turned the kiosk on the corner of Diego de León and Príncipe de Vergara into a pink espresso bar built around a La Marzocco machine.

Beans come from respected roasters across Europe, chosen for traceability and clean cups, with guest names that include DARG from Athens. Newspapers and art books share the counter with espresso and filter brews, and local artists sometimes show work. It is a quick stop rather than a place to settle in, and bags of beans can be bought here or through the online shop.
