Nubra Coffee Roasters

Nubra is a micro roastery on Calle de la Alameda in the Barrio de las Letras, built around closing the circle between origin, roast and cup. The team selects the coffees, roasts them to bring out each one's identity, and serves them at their own bar. Roasting happens from Monday to Thursday, so what you drink is always recent. Valentina Cartechini, one of the cofounders, won the Spanish Brewers Cup in February 2026 at Coffee Fest Madrid.
The range is split into House coffees, Specials and Competition Lots, with offerings such as a washed Caturra from Huehuetenango in Guatemala grown at around 1,800 metres. Bags can be ordered online, and Nubra also supplies other cafés through a wholesale programme. The bar opens every day from nine in the morning, with a short pause in the early afternoon, and keeps its attention on filter and espresso made from its own roasts.
