Hey My Coffee

The white shopfront of Hey My Coffee with its brown lettering, a round hanging sign and an open doorway onto the counter, chalkboard menu and roaster

Hey My Coffee started in 2021 as a small café on Calle del General Díaz Porlier, opened by two siblings who wanted good coffee to be the rule rather than the exception. It was the first of what are now four Hey My Coffee spots in Madrid, and the roaster lives inside the café itself. Beans are roasted fresh every week in the city, and the team is happy to explain the process if you catch them mid roast.

Goya is the quick stop for people living against the clock, in the heart of the Salamanca district. The coffees change with the seasons and have come from farms in Colombia, El Salvador, Brazil, Nicaragua, Peru, Kenya and Ethiopia, all scoring 84 points or more. Bags of whole bean or ground coffee are sold at the counter and through the website, and the brand refreshed its look in 2026 while keeping its plain talking approach to specialty coffee.
