Green Coffees Roasters

Green Coffees Roasters is the project of two brothers, Oscar and David, travellers who gathered ideas for their cafés in Madrid, London, Brighton, Argentina and Milan. They roast their own specialty coffee in Madrid and serve it in two cafés, this one on Avenida del Doctor Federico Rubio y Galí in Tetuán and another on Calle del Cardenal Cisneros in Chamberí. The pitch is origin coffee roasted with care and served with plenty of affection.

The Tetuán café doubles as an art space, with workshops where visitors paint with coffee beans or make jewellery from them. Sustainability is part of the identity, with spent grounds recycled through a partnership with Coffee Kreisst, and the team also teaches coffee master classes. Bags of their roasts are sold for home brewing, and the doors open from eight on weekdays and nine on weekends, closing at seven.
