Dromme Kaffe House

Dromme Kaffe House is a specialty coffee shop on Calle de Juana Doña, in the Arganzuela district near Legazpi, opened by Esteban Canet and Ángela Cremonte with a clear aim: serious coffee without the intimidation that sometimes comes with it. Esteban does the roasting himself, working with beans from Colombia and Nicaragua, and the bar offers V60, Orea and Origami pour overs alongside simpler milk drinks, with no judgment whichever way you take it.

The room is open and practical, wide enough to take strollers without fuss and set up with tables and sockets for people working on laptops. Natural light and generous space make it an easy place to settle in for a morning, and dogs are allowed inside. It is a neighborhood shop first, friendly and unhurried, but with roasting and brewing worth crossing the city for. It opens every day, with the longest hours from Tuesday to Saturday.
