COFI.

The COFI. shopfront with its lit sign, a black bench and potted plant outside and a warm lit counter seen through the glass

COFI. is a specialty coffee project in the Conde Duque area, built around an eclectic, industrial yet minimal room with high tables for working, low benches, muted colours and weathered walls. The Calle del Acuerdo café is the one covered here, with sister cafés on Calle de Rodríguez San Pedro and Calle del General Pardiñas. Filter coffee on V60, cold brew and iced flat white sit alongside the espresso drinks, and a small vinyl section from Marilians Records adds to the soundtrack.

What sets COFI. apart is the programme. The team hosts cuppings and bar takeovers with guest roasters, among them Five Elephant from Berlin, Dalston Coffee from Barcelona and HIDAY from Vigo, as well as art exhibitions, talks and launches with local creators. The result is a neighbourhood café where specialty coffee and culture share the same room, open every day from early morning until the evening.
