PLUM Specialty Coffee

Micol and Freddy opened PLUM in 2025 on Hoenderstraat, built around a shared love of coffee and food they wanted to make feel less serious and more approachable than the specialty scene usually manages. It runs the only Modbar espresso system in Limburg province, an under counter setup that clears the bar for customers to see and choose the microlot beans going into their own cup.

The menu runs past straight coffee into a full matcha program, usucha and a hojicha latte among them, plus espresso tonic, cold brew and natural wine for the later part of the day. Gluten free options round out the food side of a room built as much for a slow catch up as a quick espresso.
