Rakwé

Founder Elias Sfeir named this red fronted Terreaux corner shop Le Romarin after the street it sits on, marked out by a glowing green neon moka pot in the window and a chalkboard promising Good Coffee Good Vibes. Rakwé roasts its own coffee and has grown into several more Lyon addresses since, including a rare cart inside Gare Lyon Part-Dieu, one of the country's busiest train stations.
The espresso menu runs the standard range alongside superfood lattes and pourover options chalked up just inside the door. A handful of small bistro tables line the pavement out front, making Rue Romarin as easy a stop for a coffee on the way past as it is a spot to sit down properly with one.
