Stereoscope Coffee Company

Leif An, a certified Q grader, founded Stereoscope in 2013 with business partner Clifford Park, starting as a wholesale roaster built around high quality coffee at a fair price. The company works from a Five Elements framework of altitude, soil, fauna, climate and the farmer and roaster, and treats coffee as a living organism. This Echo Park cafe leans into filter brewing, with a handful of pour over options at any moment.

The brand has also earned recognition for its packaging, created with the Oslo design studio OlssønBarbieri, with honors including a D&AD Shortlist, a European Design Award gold and a Dieline Awards first place. Stereoscope has since added rooms in Hollywood, Buena Park, Long Beach and Newport Beach, plus a store in Seoul, this Echo Park address being part of the original Los Angeles footprint.
