Rose Park's cafe on East 4th Street is where the roaster's first shop opened, and it keeps the feel of a neighborhood coffee shop, with a mural on the wall that reads Welcome to the Process. The mural stands for the company's ethos of welcoming people into coffee roasting, savoring each step and favoring steady growth over trying to get everything perfect every time.

The company set out to bring freshly roasted coffee to home brewers across Long Beach, starting as a delivery service, and it still centers on helping people brew well at home. It roasts its own coffee and supplies its cafes and local wholesale accounts. The shop opens daily from six in the morning to five in the afternoon.
