Kumquat Coffee DTLA

A long wall of wooden shelves at Kumquat Coffee stocked with pour over drippers, kettles, cups and glassware, with tote bags and a coffee machine on the tables in front

Kumquat's Figueroa Street cafe in Downtown Los Angeles is a branch of the Highland Park original, built around a curated list of coffees from roasters and origins around the world, with tea and chocolate on the menu too. The team tests, analyzes and selects its favorite coffees from partner roasters abroad, among them Fritz in Seoul, April in Copenhagen, The Barn in Berlin and Passenger in Pennsylvania.

Coffees that make the cut also appear on the retail shelves and in a monthly coffee club subscription, alongside ceremonial matcha, craft chocolate and brewing equipment. The cafe opens at seven on weekdays and eight on weekends, closing at four on weekdays and three on weekends.
