Eightfold Coffee Echo Park

Eightfold is a neighborhood coffee shop on West Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park, set away from the busiest stretch of the street. The room is large for a cafe, bright and calm in feel, with pale brick walls, stone topped tables and wide windows, and shelves of small press books and zines line a wall. The name comes from the Eightfold Path of Buddhist teaching, a path toward changing thought and behavior.

Eightfold does not roast its own coffee and has partnered with Heart Roasters of Portland, Oregon, for the bar. Its website takes online orders for pickup from the cafe, which opens daily from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon.
