Caffe Luxxe Culver City

The bright open room at Caffe Luxxe in Culver City with exposed ducts and pendant lamps, a yellow display fridge, a marble coffee bar, shelves of bags and round tables beside an orange banquette

Caffe Luxxe opened its Culver City cafe in March 2026, in the historic triangular Washington Building where Culver Boulevard meets Washington Boulevard. The company began in 2006 with two school friends and an espresso they shared one Italian morning, and it still borrows from Italian cafe tradition.

The coffee is roasted in small batches on Probat machines, by hand rather than by computer, and the espresso and drip blends include Montenero, Openaire and Melisse. Montenero comes in three expressions, Classico, Delicato and Extra Forte. Baristi train for at least six months before working the bar, and pastries sit alongside the drinks. Il Laboratorio, the company's roastery and training lab, is open by appointment only. The cafe opens daily from six thirty in the morning to six in the evening.
