Boxx Coffee Roasters

Boxx Coffee Roasters began in Istanbul in 2015 and brought its roasting to the Arts District in 2021, on the ground floor of a mixed use apartment building on East 3rd Street. The coffees come from producers and long time partners across Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific, and the team says it roasts to reveal what is already in the green coffee rather than to mask it.

The menu covers espresso drinks, batch brew, matcha and tea, plus Turkish coffee, a nod to the company's Istanbul roots. On Thursday to Saturday evenings the cafe becomes Night at Boxx, with coffee and tea mocktails, and free public cuppings have been held on Tuesdays. It opens daily from seven in the morning to six in the evening.
