Alana's Coffee Roasters Robertson

Alana's small storefront on North Robertson Boulevard brings the same in house roasting to West Hollywood. Inside, a slatted wood counter with a marble top sits beside a pastry case and the espresso machine. The team roasts almost daily and uses only beans that are in season, buying either directly from farmers or through a supplier who works with growers worldwide.

The roaster began by selling single origin beans at Los Angeles farmers markets, and the same direct, seasonal approach carries into the cup here. Syrups are made in house, and powders are kept simple and low in sugar. It is a quick walk up stop that opens daily from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon.
