The Wren Coffee

The Wren sits inside St Nicholas Cole Abbey on Queen Victoria Street, just south of St Paul's Cathedral, a church Christopher Wren designed after the Great Fire of 1666. High ceilings and tall stained glass windows flood the nave with light, making it one of the grandest rooms in London to drink specialty coffee. Fireheart and Caravan supply the beans, and a friendly team of baristas looks after the bar.
The church runs a workplace ministry alongside the coffee, and the café trades on weekdays, from early morning until the middle of the afternoon. On Thursdays it pauses over lunchtime for the St Nick's Talks. The spacious interior makes it an easy place for a meeting or a pause from the City, and it is walk in only, with takeaway for anyone in a hurry.
