Story Coffee

Story began in 2014 on a bright corner of St John's Hill, near Clapham Junction, founded by Sof and Jo to bring the best coffee they could to their corner of south west London. The name is a promise of transparency: you can find out the region, the processing method and even where the milk comes from. It has since grown to three London cafes, and this original shop remains the neighbourhood anchor.

Behind the counter sits a custom Kees van der Westen Spirit espresso machine and an Everyday Story house blend made with trusted roasting partners, alongside a rotating line of single origins. Milk is from Estate Dairy and steamed with Ubermilk technology. There is no wifi, so conversation fills the room, and tables spill onto the generous pavement in good weather.
