Stir Coffee Brixton

Stir Coffee has held its corner on Brixton Hill since 2016, a narrow wedge of a room with floor to ceiling windows, long communal tables with benches in the glass and a four seat window bar. The menu showcases coffee from around the world, and the counter stocks beans and brewing kit if you want to carry the ideas home.

Stir works as a small community hub as much as a coffee bar. It has run public cupping sessions, a crowd judged coffee competition with Catalyst, and pop up showcases for local artists and designers. A quieter exposed brick room sits at the back, and tables sit out on Arodene Road. Dogs are part of the scene, and the shop stocks natural treats and toys for them.
