Ozone Coffee Roasters

A working roastery and full kitchen brunch spot near Old Street roundabout (the traffic circle at the heart of what's been nicknamed 'Silicon Roundabout' for the tech startups clustered around it), with exposed brick and black framed windows doing the industrial Shoreditch look properly rather than referencing it. Ozone is New Zealand founded, part of the same wave of Antipodean coffee culture that reshaped London's cafés in the 2000s and 2010s, and roasts its own single origin and house blend beans at a separate Stafford facility, selling the results by the bag alongside brewing equipment in store.
Weekend mornings run busy enough that the kitchen closes an hour before the espresso bar does, just to keep pace with the brunch crowd. It's as much a full breakfast destination as a coffee stop, and treated that way by most of the regulars who work in the offices and startups nearby during the week. Dogs are welcome, with staff happy to provide a water bowl.
