oma Coffee Roaster

oma Coffee Roaster began in Hong Kong as a small batch specialty roaster formed by a team who share a passion for coffee, and its London shop sits on the ground floor of 35 Eastcastle Street in Fitzrovia. The team runs regular cupping and brewing sessions to keep their palates calibrated, and buys seasonal coffees from around the world, from competition lots to daily drinkers. The current line up includes Ethiopian lots from Sidama and Kenyan coffees from Kirinyaga.
The London room is small and light, with a curved timber counter, a white La Marzocco espresso machine and a dark framed wall of oma bags on the shelves. Blackboards list the producer, variety, process and roast date of the espresso coffees currently on the machine, and bags are also sold online. It opens at half past seven on weekdays and at nine at weekends.
