Nude Coffee Roasters

Nude Espresso began on Brick Lane in 2008, one of the first cafés to bring third wave coffee to east London, with New Zealander Richard Reed among its founders. Roasting moved to 25 Hanbury Street in 2015, into a purpose built roastery opposite the original flagship, where a 35 kilo Loring roaster sits in the open so visitors can watch the beans being roasted.

The Hanbury Street roastery works as roastery, showroom and coffee bar rather than a place to linger, with espresso and filter on a La Marzocco and bags of espresso blends, filters and limited single origins on the shelves. Brewing equipment and merchandise are sold too, a limited edition Geisha has featured online, and Nude supplies cafés across the city. It opens every day of the week.
