Intermission Coffee

Intermission opened in August 2020 on Heritage Lane, a minute from West Hampstead Overground, as a coffee shop built around people and planet. Its stated mission is to be at the forefront of sustainable coffee, checking that everyone along the supply chain is treated and paid fairly, and it passes an extra 5p from every coffee sold back to farmers.
The coffee began as other roasters' beans and is now roasted by Intermission itself. The shop is compact and calm, with plants, a long bench along one wall, an espresso bar and batch brew filter, and a courtyard out front for sunnier days. Expect to be offered a proper pause rather than a rush, which is the whole idea behind the name.
