Element Coffee

Element is an independent coffee shop and roastery in Northfields, started because its owners felt West London's coffee scene was missing a space that was inclusive, inviting and innovative. They found their unit in 2018, fitted the whole shop themselves with help from family and friends in under five weeks, and opened the doors in March 2019.

The coffees are small batch roasted in west London and sorted into a simple range named for the elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water and a Fifth Element, plus a decaf. Each element is matched to a flavour and brew method, so picking a bag is easy. The aim is to bridge instant coffee and the third wave without any judgment, and the bar treats commuters and regulars the same.
