Devotion Coffee

Devotion began in Clapham Junction in 2017 and settled into this Cross Street corner near Angel in February 2020, where it sits alongside sister shops in Clerkenwell and the City. It is a truly independent shop built around one idea: showing how wide specialty coffee can be, through a library of beans from some of Europe's most interesting roasters.

Inside it is tiny and standing room only, because the walls and shelves are given over to bags, many pinned with flavour notes to help you choose. Roasters such as Replica from Belgium, Spaceboy from Edinburgh, Scenery from London and Tanat from France have all appeared, with a house espresso blend behind the bar. A few tables on the pavement take the overflow.
