46b Espresso Hut

Tucked down Brooksby's Walk in Homerton, 46b Espresso Hut is a small owner operated coffee shop that has served the neighbourhood since 2012. It pours Square Mile coffee, one of London's best known specialty roasters, and also sells beans, in shop bakes and toasties. Eva and Dominic run it themselves, and the room is a cosy one, with a handful of tables inside and a few seats out front.

It sits close to Homerton Overground and Homerton Hospital, so the regulars range from families and local workers to nurses coming off shift. The same team also runs Espresso Hut in Soho and Hand Cafe, but this is the original and the one with the loyal local following. It opens early on weekdays, closes mid afternoon and stays shut at the weekend.
