TACT

A black Mahlkonig grinder on a marble counter beside a leafy plant, with a pale marble wall and a wooden shelf of coffee bags in warm sunlight at TACT

TACT takes its name from the English phrase "a sense of tact", meaning respect for other people, for good ingredients and for the city. Viktoria Parfinskaia and Kirill Ivanov, a couple who moved to Lisbon from Saint Petersburg, turned a former laundry on a quiet Estrela corner into a compact café and kept its original marble walls and floor exactly as they were found.

Coffee is Kirill's particular passion, and the beans rotate between respected European roasters such as Dutch DAK and German Bonanza. The bar runs a La Marzocco GS3 with a Mahlkönig EK43S grinder and offers both espresso and filter, with plant based milk available. It is a morning café, open weekdays until the early afternoon.
