Senzi

The open counter at Senzi framed in pale wood, with a La Marzocco espresso machine, white grinders, a matcha whisk and bags of coffee on shelves, and round tables and chairs in front

Senzi is a bright, compact cafe on Rua da Moeda in Cais do Sodre, built around an open counter where coffee and matcha are prepared in front of the guests. Its own name for itself is kitchen, coffee and matcha, and the room measures about ninety square metres, designed by the studio NWDS.

Coffee comes as espresso and milk drinks, as filter brewed on V60, Chemex and Kalita, and as cold brew and decaf, with plant milks on hand. Matcha is the house speciality, with several grades plus tastings and workshops, and brunch is served through the day. Packaged coffee is sold at the counter.
