Baobá Café Bica

Baobá Café on Rua de São Paulo is the Lisbon home of Fazenda Baobá, a coffee farm in São Sebastião da Grama in São Paulo state, Brazil, founded in 2005. Green coffee travels from that farm to Bica and is roasted in the neighbourhood, so a cup here follows one grower's coffee from the harvest all the way to the counter. The room sits under a black awning with tables out on the cobbles of the street, and the staff are glad to explain the roast to anyone curious.
Baobá serves espresso, filter coffee, cold brew and nitro coffee, with plant based milk options and an all day brunch menu alongside. Cupping sessions open the table to anyone who wants to taste coffees side by side, and the shelves carry Baobá's blends and seasonal microlots to take home.
