Coffee Busters Roastery & Pastry

The glass fronted storefront of Coffee Busters in San Isidro, with the chalkboard sign above the bar, pendant lights and terrace tables under string lights

Coffee Busters began in 2020 as a home delivery coffee brand for people working from their living rooms, and in August 2022 it opened its doors on Avenida Dos de Mayo in San Isidro. Cofounder Oscar Medina built it around two ideas: serve only Peruvian coffee, and open the café's kitchen and bar as a place to train and employ young people with special abilities, in partnership with Peru's social programmes. The glass fronted room, with a terrace of tables under string lights, has since become one of Lima's best known specialty addresses.

The roastery is the heart of the business. Green beans from twelve producing families across Peru, from Cajamarca, San Martín and Junín to Cusco and Villa Rica, are roasted on site and served in the café or sold as whole bean and ground coffee. Coffee Busters was named among the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops in 2025, and the team also brings its coffee to events with a mobile bar.
