Bienvenue Coffee Shop

Jean Lin and Marina, a Brazilian barista, opened Bienvenue in 2025 inside a former boutique on rue Esquermoise in Vieux Lille, keeping the original moulded ceiling and glass roof of the historic storefront in place. Pastries come from Marion Desurmont, a finalist in the region's best bakery competition in 2024, baked fresh for the counter each morning.

The menu runs through espresso, V60 filter and cold brew, drawing on beans from outside roasters including Corazón, Tanat and Brulerie du Cantin, alongside lattes, matcha, ube and seasonal drinks like pumpkin or hot chocolate. Vegetable milks come at no extra charge, and the historic room doubles as a quiet daytime spot for anyone working on a laptop.
