Saints of Mokha

Saints of Mokha is an independent roastery and coffee house founded in Leicester in 2016 as a family run business. Its story begins in Mokha, the Yemeni port at the heart of coffee's early history, and Yemen remains a particular focus. Every coffee is cupped blind before it is bought, looking first at how it was grown and processed and the people behind it, and the shop prefers a short list of exceptional lots to a long menu.
The Belvoir Street shop adds a bakery and a small bookshop, with part of the bakery's sales going to charity in the name of the founders' grandfather, who ran a bakery in Anstey. Coffee is roasted fresh and shipped twice a week, barista training is offered, and a second Saints opened on the De Montfort University campus in September 2026.
