Stage Espresso & Brewbar

Stage Espresso & Brewbar has served coffee from a corner of Great George Street since 2017, in a building from the 1860s with tall arched windows that look across to the Grade I listed Leeds General Infirmary. The menu of single origin coffees changes regularly and is poured as espresso or filter, and the calendar includes tastings and coffee socials with roasters such as Echelon and Skylark.

A retail shelf sells coffee whole bean or ground along with Hoop, AeroPress, Chemex and Toddy brewers, and the kitchen cooks breakfast and lunch to order alongside pastries and bakes made in house, with vegan and gluten free options. Board games are there to borrow.
