Söt Coffee Kyoto Shichijo is the Kyoto shop of an Osaka based roaster, opened in 2023 in a restored townhouse of roughly a century old, about three minutes on foot from Keihan Shichijo Station. The small room mixes regular seats with tatami seating, and the shop has been nominated for The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops Asia Pacific 2026.

Söt roasts in small batches in a style that blends Nordic simplicity with Japanese delicacy, and one of its coffees placed third in Coffee Review's best coffee of the year ranking in 2021. The lots lean to light roasts, including natural, anaerobic and thermal shock processed coffees, and beans and drip bags can be bought to take home.
