World of Coffee

World of Coffee, known locally as Svit Kavy, traces back to a small bean shop in Lviv before growing into a small chain, with this Podil location opening on a quiet side street near Andriivskyi Descent in 2016. The industrial finish inside stays close to the neighborhood's older architecture, and the beans, roasted in Lviv, arrive fresh each week rather than being roasted on site.

Coffee runs through V60, Chemex, Turkish and straight espresso, with regulars pointing newcomers toward the Lviv style cheesecake alongside macarons and oat cakes. Free filtered water and books to read round out a room built for lingering rather than a quick stop between Podil's older streets.
