Mad Heads

Mad Heads started as a small roastery run by friends who liked coffee, motorbikes and travel, and has grown into a working roastery on Kyrylivska Street built around a pair of industrial Giesen roasters. Founders Artem Vradii and Anatoliy Starykovskiy still run beans through a rotating single origin list, with Ethiopian lots like Uraga and Oro and an anaerobic natural Guji among the specialties that draw regulars in beyond the counter sales.

Since the full scale invasion the roastery has kept running seven days a week with no closing day, and has built its own supply chain sending drip filter packets to Ukrainian army checkpoints, hospitals and volunteer centers, funding most of the cost itself. A charity project tied to the shop directs coffee sale proceeds toward supporting veterans and prisoners of war.
