Probador Colectiva

Probador Colectiva is the tasting room of Çağatay Gülabioğlu, the Q Grader and SCA trainer who also founded Kronotrop, set on the Kadirler Yokuşu slope in Firuzağa. The roastery opened in 2014, and the café is the front room of the working space itself, where a roaster, a long blue tiled brew bar and rows of sample jars share one bright, high ceilinged room.

The counter stays focused, with a rotating pair of espressos, a tasting flight that pours an espresso, a cortado and a filter from the same coffee, and matcha and specialty teas alongside. Three coffees rotate through each week, and guests can bring their own container to carry beans home. The shop invites visitors to slow down, wander the streets and leave phones and laptops in their pockets.
