Lean to Coffee

Oak tables and wooden chairs on gravel inside the old croft walls at Lean to Coffee, with a golden syrup tin of cutlery on the table and a window onto the field

Lean to Coffee is an independent coffee stop at Ashaig, near Broadford and the Skye Bridge, run from a wood clad converted shipping container on a family croft. The seating is among the walls of an old crofter's cottage, with benches, reclaimed chairs and old barrels, some of it under a Perspex roof and some open to the sky, and a sheltered corner in the old croft house with heat lamps and blankets for wetter days.

Pastries and buns are baked at their own bakery in Broadford. It is a place to take a flat white and a bake out into the view, with no background music, and it is open every day from 8am to 3pm.
