Verbena Coffee

Verbena Coffee is a community minded craft coffee shop on Memorial Drive, a high ceilinged room of warm wood, hanging planters, a tan leather sofa and a wall of geometric pendant lamps. It opened in October 2019 with one mission, to bring top quality coffee, espresso, tea and pastries to the Memorial area, with beans from the Houston roasters Hywood Coffee Roasters and Cleo Roasting Co.

Pastries come from Kraftsmen Bakery in the Heights, and bags of the shop's coffee can be bought through its online store. The shop sees its job as creating community, and it hosts local art shows and craft evenings. It is open from seven in the morning to six every evening, and from eight on Sundays.
