Third Gen Coffee

Third Gen Coffee is a brick fronted espresso bar on Grogans Park Drive in The Woodlands, named for a family that has farmed coffee for three generations in Honduras. The grandfather was first in the family to grow coffee, and his children returned to farming in 2010 with a new project near El Zapote in Siguatepeque, which supplies many of the beans, roasted locally in Houston.

The family also runs coffee shops in Honduras, and the Woodlands shop has been open since 2017, adding other origins through direct trade partners, Texas importers and guest roasters. The bar serves espresso drinks and brewed coffee alongside a small selection of quality food, with seating both inside and outside, and bags of the roasts and merchandise can be ordered through the online store.
