Prelude Coffee

Prelude is a counter in the lobby of a downtown tower on Main Street, serving espresso drinks, filter coffee, tea and matcha from a long marble bar with a row of stools, with marble counters and geometric tiling that echo the lobby's clean, modern look. It opened in the autumn of 2017 in what was then a brand new office tower, and it is run by the team behind Greenway Coffee.

The menu adds kolaches and breakfast tacos for the morning rush, and the focus is on quick, well made drinks for the office crowd rather than lingering. Because it serves the tower, it keeps office hours, open Monday to Friday from seven until four.
