Kohiko Coffee House

Kohiko brings Japanese hospitality to specialty coffee in Sugar Land, in a small shop on Austin Parkway where the door is lettered in English and Japanese and shelves by the window hold bags of beans to take home. A wooden table sits outside, and green walls and mid century chairs fill the room inside.

The shop opened in the summer of 2024 and builds its welcome on omotenashi, the Japanese idea of attentive hospitality, offering a space for every kind of coffee lover. It is open every day from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon, and is worth the drive out of the city for anyone chasing good specialty coffee beyond the inner loop.
