Blackwater Coffee Roasters EaDo

The brick building in EaDo with a walk up window, wooden deck and bistro tables out front and the EaDough Pastries and Provisions sign on the wall

This is where Blackwater roasts its coffee, in a low brick building on Polk Street at the east end of EaDo beside the Columbia Tap trail, with a walk up window, a small wooden deck and bistro tables out front. The head roaster works from seasonal, ethically sourced lots that meet specialty standards, and the window serves espresso drinks and brewed coffee made from the beans roasted on site.

The shelf runs from Cartographer, a seasonal espresso blend with caramel, fudge and candied hazelnut notes, to single origins such as Catatumbo from Colombia and a Swiss Water decaf. The building also houses EaDough Pastries and Provisions, whose fresh baked pastries and sandwiches sit alongside the coffee, and bags can be picked up or ordered online.
