Blacksmith

Blacksmith is a Montrose coffee bar and kitchen on Westheimer Road, set in an industrial building on the lower Westheimer curve that long housed the Montrose bar Mary's. A bank of large windows looks over the street, and you order at the counter, then settle in inside or out.

The menu runs from flat whites and lattes to tacos and pastries, and a full kitchen sits behind the counter despite the compact room. It stays busy from the seven o'clock opening until five in the afternoon, every day.
