Artista Perfetto

Artista Perfetto began in Taipei in 2012, started by a group of award winning baristas, and came home to Hong Kong in 2018 with a cozy whitewashed corner shop on Sharp Street West. A long bench along the Chan Tong Lane side gives Causeway Bay regulars somewhere to sit in the sun with a cup, while the glass fronted room inside stays busy from the morning opening.

The coffee list is built around named house blends with the origins spelled out, such as a seasonal Ethiopian E Blend that splits natural and washed lots, a nutty N Blend of Brazil, Rwanda and Colombia for milk drinks, and a washed only W Blend of Ethiopia and Kenya. Single origin drip bags, a shelf of brewing gear and a small series of independently bottled whiskies round out a counter that has its own devoted following for the Dirty, a shot of espresso over cold milk.
