MANKI Specialty Coffee Bar

The single marble bar at MANKI Specialty Coffee Bar with three V60 drippers, a kettle, grinder and espresso machine in front of a timber wall lettered MANKI

Manki began in 2016 with a simple idea, to find good and unusual coffees from around the world and serve them as they taste at origin, and it now works as a specialty coffee bar down an alley off Bui Thi Xuan Street near Ben Thanh. There is one counter with seven seats, no separate tables and no long menu, so you sit facing the barista and drink each cup the moment it is finished.

Pinkbeans Coffee Roasters, the in house roastery behind Manki, brings in three or more new lots every month, from washed Sidra grown at La Esperanza in Colombia to Ethiopian Gedeb Chelchele with jasmine and apricot notes. Natural light and pale timber keep the room calm, and booking a seat at the bar ahead is the best way to guarantee a place, especially at weekends.
