Bosgaurus Coffee Roasters Opera House

Founder Nguyen Canh Hung left a career in engineering for specialty coffee and opened the first Bosgaurus at Saigon Pearl in 2016, set on proving that Vietnam could grow serious Arabica, and this Opera House branch carries that idea into the heart of District 1. The room is designed like a theatre, with a central bar as the stage, baristas working under spotlights and a Synesso espresso machine at its centre.

The roasters buy 100% Arabica from farmers in the Tramhamin cooperative, work with them on zero waste deep washed and refermented processing, and pay above market prices for the lots. Vietnamese style iced coffee made from Arabica is the house signature, and bags of freshly roasted beans go home with you from the counter.
