96B Cafe & Roastery

Hana Choi opened 96B in 2016 as a small experiment above a chocolate shop on Phan Ngu street, and a 2020 rebrand with partner Thai Dang turned it into the glass fronted cafe and roastery that sits at street level today, with granite benches and plants out front. The team went looking for Liberica in the Central Highlands when hardly anyone in Vietnam was serving it, and has since built exclusive Liberica, Excelsa and Catimor lots with small farms in Da Lat and a group of families in Quang Tri.

Espresso and drip coffee rotate through the Excelsa Project drops and award winning Robusta, with bottled cold brew and salted cream lattes for the heat of the day. The team runs a coffee education lab with workshops for every level, and bags of beans, phin filters and brewing gear go home with you from the shop.
