Lykke Helsinki

The colourful bar and seating at Lykke Helsinki with a red ribbed counter and espresso machine, a monstera plant, a mural wall of bold hand drawn posters and pale pink tables

Lykke Helsinki is a bright, rainbow coloured café bar that opened in the summer of 2024 on Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu, a short walk from Kamppi and the HAM art museum. It serves hot drinks, pastries and an all day breakfast every day, with craft beers on tap and a standing welcome for people and their dogs.

The Lykke name means happiness in Swedish, and the coffee behind it comes from farms the company co-owns with growers in Latin America and Africa. Beans are roasted with a light touch for balance and sweetness on a Loring S35 in Kuopio and Stockholm, then poured here as filter and espresso and sold in bags to take home.
