ACID8 Specialty Coffee

The terracotta red room at Acid8 Specialty Coffee with a dark stone bar, a barista at the till behind two grinders, red cubby shelves of glassware and bottles, and tables with black chairs along the wall

ACID8 opened in 2019 at the end of the Xom Ha Hoi alley, which links Tran Quoc Toan and Tran Hung Dao streets. The front is red brick and the room runs over two floors, with baristas treated as the hosts of the space and a short list of values: community, connection, respect and fairness.

Coffee is roasted in house with a separate roast profile for each bean, and espresso drinks come in single origin, specialty and specialty plus tiers. Seasonal pour overs, an eighteen hour cold brew and Vietnamese classics sit alongside pastries baked each morning.
