Jules Coffee & Concept

Jules opened on Turfmarkt by the Spaarne around 2022 and grew popular enough within two years to spin off a sister bakery, Jules Bakery, a short walk away, along with a small concept store selling homeware and baby clothing under the same roof as the coffee counter. The bar pours two respected guest roasters, Amsterdam's DAK Coffee Roasters and Rotterdam's A Matter of Concrete, a pairing that signals a genuine specialty focus rather than a single default supplier.

A pistachio croissant is the pastry regulars order, made in house alongside cruffins and other viennoiserie, and the terrace by the river gives the shop one of the better outdoor seats in central Haarlem. Dogs and laptops are both welcome, a combination that keeps the room busy through the working day.
